What it is for

Best for

Small pharmacies, reception/IT, lighting and other carefully selected essential loads.

What it can power: typical examples (guidance, not a promise)

  • LED lighting across the facility
  • One or two vaccine / medicine fridges
  • Laptops, reception and Wi-Fi
  • Basic laboratory equipment such as a microscope

Check compatibility with your own equipment list before choosing.

We don’t promise a fixed number of backup hours: backup duration depends on what is connected. Sensitive or no-break medical loads may require a dedicated online UPS or manufacturer-specific protection. Compatibility must be confirmed from the device nameplate, surge demand and manufacturer requirements before purchase or connection.

What is included

Everything in the standard price

  • Facility energy assessment

We review the loads that matter, outage pattern and existing electricity use before final installation.

  • Energy-efficiency check

We identify avoidable energy waste before sizing additional generation and storage.

  • Critical-load design

Loads are separated into critical, priority and flexible/heavy loads so limited stored energy protects the services that matter most.

  • Solar modules

The stated PV array for the selected package.

  • Hybrid inverter

The stated inverter class and phase configuration.

  • LiFePO₄ storage

    The stated nominal battery-storage capacity.

  • Mounting and normal BOS

Standard rails/clamps, solar cable/connectors and normal installation consumables.

  • Electrical protection

Appropriately sized DC/AC isolation, breakers/fusing, surge protection, battery protection and earthing for the standard design.

  • Standard transport + installation

Normal delivery/installation allowance is built into the package price; unusual travel or civil works are confirmed separately.

  • Testing and commissioning

System testing, safe start-up and commissioning record.

  • Monitoring setup

Configuration of available inverter/BMS monitoring where the selected equipment supports it.

  • Customer handover

Basic operator training, documentation and warranty-registration support.

  • Post-install check

Recommended 30-day remote/phone follow-up to confirm operation and answer user questions.

Not automatically included

  • Major building rewiring, utility-service upgrades or replacement of an unsafe main distribution board.
  • Roof structural reinforcement, extensive civil works, trenching or unusually long cable routes beyond the standard installation scope.
  • Dedicated online UPS systems for medical equipment that requires true no-break power; these are specified separately after reviewing the equipment manufacturer requirements.
  • Remote-location travel or logistics materially above the standard transport allowance.
  • Additional PV, storage or circuits requested after the final design is approved.
  • Permits, specialist works or third-party services not included in the signed quotation.

Payment models

How each option works

Cash: you own the system immediately after full payment.

PAYGo: you own the system after all scheduled payments are completed; eligibility and final terms are subject to credit approval.

Energy-as-a-Service: Ubuntu AfyaLink owns, monitors and maintains the covered system during the service term; the facility pays for the resilience service, not for ownership of the equipment.

Delivery & installation

Standard transport and installation are included. Remote travel, civil works or non-standard electrical work may change the final quotation and are confirmed before the deposit is collected.
